Energy Saving Scheme (ESS)
What is the Energy Saving Scheme?
The Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) is an initiative by the New South Wales government to encourage organisations to invest in energy saving projects by financial incentives. These energy saving projects include installing, improving or replacing energy savings equipment – including lighting.
How does ESS work?
When you decided to invest in an LED lighting upgrade, we will conduct an assessment of how much energy use will be reduced with the upgrade. For each notional megawatt hour of energy saved, The Green Guys Group as an Accredited Certificate Provider (ACP) will create one Energy Savings Certificate (ESC). Liable third parties such as energy retailers then will purchase these ESCs. Finally, the value of the ESCs is then returned to you in the form of a subsidy towards the LED lighting upgrade cost.
What does this mean to me?
This means that you can get an LED lighting upgrade at a greatly reduced cost. To this date, we have accessed over $60M in total in government incentives for our clients. Subsidised upgrade plus instant savings on electricity costs mean greater-than-ever ROI for your business.
We will handle the application process for you and present the discounted rate upfront, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork and calculations.
You’ve got nothing to lose – contact us for your FREE assessment and invest in an LED light upgrade now!
